The CAD Designer is responsible for transforming concepts into working documentation. This role will be focused on maintaining technical drawings and models for production products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

·Create and revise part and assembly drawings

·Check dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of parts to each other, and relation of various parts to the whole system

·Produce drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructions

·Draft detailed multi-view 2-dimensional drawings and create 3-D models

·Draw finished designs from sketches

·Maintain and organize the drawing system

·Ensure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints and related product specifications to allow successful transfer to manufacturing

·Communicate with internal and external customers regarding new or revised prints

Requirements:

· Associate Degree in Drafting/CAD Technology.

· Proficient in SolidWorks with 2-5 years of experience designing surfaced models for molded parts.

· Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.

· Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and work well with all team members.

· Have the ability to be self-directed.

Other Skills/Abilities

· SolidWorks certification is preferred, but not required.

PPE Requirements

· Safety glasses when inside production areas.
