JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides an opportunity to work on a wide variety of disputes, including Product Liability, Personal Injury, and Commercial litigation. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, technically proficient, and self-confident individual, with experience in Litigation case management. This position will be responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). In addition, the individual should be able to balance and prioritize assignments and deadlines in a fun, fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a self-starter, with high integrity and high professional standards, who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Use litigation eDiscovery applications to preserve, search, sort, organize and maintain electronic data.

Conduct various document searches and factual research.

Lead document processing, review, and productions in Relativity.

Assist and train Relativity users.

Manage data and users in Relativity.

Provide technical knowledge to internal departments, outside counsel, and outside vendors in all phases of litigation and other matters requiring preservation, identification, collection, processing, and production of data.

Maintain appropriate chain of custody and other documentation through lifecycle of matters in accordance with accepted protocols.

Partner with internal and external teams to develop multi-disciplinary structures, policies, procedures, processes, and controls implemented to manage information.

Locate and gather documents efficiently throughout enterprise responsive in litigation.

Assist with case management obligations.

Review production and privilege logs.

Coordinate document reviews.

Train employees on the Records Retention Policy, including developing and updating training materials and other resources to help employees understand their obligations.

Assist with information mapping and governance related to both litigation and corporate functions.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

8+ years of litigation experience in a corporate, law firm, or eDiscovery vendor environment

BA/BS degree in business, legal or related field preferred

Advanced-level proficiency in eDiscovery review platforms. Relativity software experience strong preferred

Expertise in the eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM) process

Initiative and the ability to work with little supervision required.

Experience in computer systems skills with an affirmative understanding of MS Word, Excel, O365, Outlook, PowerPoint

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and collaboration skills with individual and group partners

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Sense of humor and emotional acuity

Demonstrated leadership skills that result in the production of high-quality services and exceptional standards.

Ability to manage a case load and organize and assemble documents and files.

Comfort working with and managing outside counsel, working cross-functionally with business, engineering and legal executives and personnel.

Ability to protect integrity of (and maintain) confidential and proprietary information.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Very fast-paced, dynamic culture.

Hybrid working model (in office/work from home). Offsite schedule based on business need. Potential for remote with travel to Polaris locations based on business need, dependent on candidate qualifications.

Travel as needed (5%-10%)
