JOB SUMMARY:

Join a dynamic team that works cross-functionally to enhance rider experience and promote brand loyalty. You will be a principal contributor to Financial Services’ goals by being responsible for the financial activities of Polaris Acceptance, a joint venture to provide dealer floor financing, and North 54, a captive insurance company to self-insure financial products. You will work closely with internal and external partners to identify opportunities to improve existing programs as well as help develop new opportunities in a fast-growing market. The individual in this role will be required to understand business requirements and drive robust modeling, analytics, and reporting for both businesses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Polaris Acceptance

  • Develop standardized monthly reporting and provide financial modeling and analysis to improve product line quarterly and annual forecasting.

  • Act as single point-of-contact to Polaris Acceptance sales and operations team to communicate results of research and resolution of open invoice/credit issues.

  • Listen, gather, and analyze dealer feedback to drive customer service improvements.

  • Ensure the efficient use of all available portfolio management tools.

North 54 / Financial Products

  • Perform month-end prep, close activities, and controls, including but not limited to workbook preparation, financial statement review, variance analysis, cash transfers/wires, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

  • Construct quarterly and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for financial products and North 54.

  • Ensure financial integrity of data transfers and flows between systems and to/from external partners.

  • Act as lead and point-of-contact for financial products for the consolidated audit and North 54 captive audit.

  • Provide analytical research and support in helping develop new financial products and services.

General

  • Provide analysis of key performance drivers to internal and external partners.

  • Responsible for maintenance, documentation, and compliance of Financial Services SOX controls.

  • Identify lean initiatives to streamline administrative functions utilizing analytic tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, etc.)

  • Ability to think independently and proactively bring best-in-class solutions to the table and be willing to drive those solutions across the finish line.

  • Drive performance by assessing the impact of changing business conditions and benchmarking competitors.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and miscellaneous projects as requested by functional or finance leadership.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance

  • 2+ years of experience in business environment; powersports or financial services experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, experience with forecasting and understanding complex business model

  • Ability to be an integral part of a strong team, strong problem solving and attention to details

  • Ability to research, analyze and make recommendations under pressure to team members

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills and ability to articulate thoughts and ideas

  • Experience managing third-party vendor/partner relationships

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, MAPICS, OneStream

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Standard office environment with some travel as needed.

  • Hybrid work model based on business needs.
